這是日本五人樂團GNU的第三張專輯，其風格延續備受好評的前作“Midnight Breakfast”以爵士樂為經，微模風格為緯的融合取向。樂團雖然由著名即興薩克斯風手Masahiko Okura領軍，卻放棄即興演奏手法，五人以高超的技藝與高度的自律，共同發展出誘人又具獨創性的音樂語言：在電貝斯厚實但柔韌的線條襯托下，電子琴和絃、管風琴聲塊和時而竄出的薩克斯風激奏遠近穿梭於簡約、勁道十足的律動中，不停破壞節拍的規則，而抒情時分雙薩克斯風的迂迴呢喃，亦不乏性感的豐美暗潮。GNU遺傳到日本樂手吸收合成不同音樂風格的特異功能，而且更突變成功，未來的發展令人期待。

cubic music is proud to announce the release of GNU's third album "suro".
They kept developing their own unique and acrobatic musical ensemble for two years right after they released the highly acclaimed second album 'midnight breakfast'.GNU develops the completely original band ensemble by five great players which used jazz as the base focusing on sax player Masahiko Okura who plays an active part also as one person representing Japan of improviser.
Their live performance is exciting and funny, and they got very high evaluation.

In this work, the edit work before a Mix Down is introduced in the bolder form than based on the style of reproducing perfectly the acrobatic composition composed using the sequencer. "suro" is full of powerful energy or tricky beat, and it have a great impact on us.
On the other hand, the latter of parts are mellifluous.Especially "round2" has a sentimental wonderful troll on two saxophone sounds (guest tenor saxophone player:Takumi Ito "Tsuki no wa"), and sinks into our feelings."suro" is a very profound work.
